Popis: The aim of this project is to optimize the management of the people with reduced mobility (PRM) service at Barcelona-El Prat airport. In order to achieve this objective, an algorithm has been created to simulate the operation of the PRM service to improve its coordination. At the same time, the importance in the organization of the resources aimed at improving waiting times has been studied. In the first section, this service has been studied where it has been verified the growth that it has suffered this lasts years. It has also been described the main characteristics of the service as, for instance, the typologies of the PRM or the type of assistances requests and the notice related with the assistances requests times. The second part has consisted on the explanation of the quality parameters used to evaluate the service. In this section it has been described the services times and its relationship with the non-compliance of quality times. One of the purposes of the algorithm has been the study of non-compliance of quality times. Concerning this objective, it has been used an actual data of August 2nd of 2018 in order to establish a comparison during a high season day. Finally, five simulations have been created where difference between them has been the management of resources. In the first three simulations it has been provided the information that from the quantity of 9 agents, there is a substantial improvement in comparison with the real data, and that 10 agents offer a service without any non-compliance of quality times. The last two simulations have been used to compare the operation of the service depending of the way agents can move, by foot or in a van. These results have verified that the use of vehicles as vans can deliver considerable improvements, until the point that the configuration of only 9 agents provide the better results.
