Popis: This paper analyses current hybrid renewable en-ergy installations and initiatives, combining different energyresources and aiming to reduce emissions and fossil fuel de-pendence. In addition, it is also considered climatic conditionsof each location and maximum power ranges allowed by eachgeneration units. PV installations and wind power plants arethe most integrated renewable energy sources, mainly due totheir reliability and economic profitability. Nevertheless, in recentyears, the ambition for green hydrogen generation, free ofpolluting emissions, has become increasingly strong in hybridgeneration solutions. However, other energy sources that alsoreduce environmental pollution are often combined with PV andwind power plants to achieve more widespread generation andavoid downtime, with the aim of minimising dependence on fossilfuels and fulfil sustainable international agreements 2020-21
