Popis: | In the field of international adoption, the popularity of the Internet has become an enabling environment for adoptive (or prospective) families to share their experiences, therefore weaving an online relatedness that generates significant information flows. Given the low incidence in Spain of academic surveys on adoption, which authors such as Murthy (2008) and Jaume & González Río (2014) have pointed out, the aim of this article is to analyze the use of the Internet as a repository of information and as a relational space adoptive families use to discuss parenting. An online questionnaire was administered to 477 respondents, followed by in-depth interviews with 61 informants. Another technique was the continuous monitoring of information that circulated on a Facebook page created specifically as a part of the research. |
