Popis: | The orthographic adaptation of anglicisms in Croatian and Russian follows five basic principles: 1) the orthography is formed according to the pronunciation of English models ; 2) the orthography follows the orthography of English models with the exception of cases where English graphemes have no equivalents in the recipient language ; 3) the orthography can be combined on the basis of the first two principles ; 4) if the English model goes through an internmediary language, then the orthography may show some influence of the intermediary language ; 5) the adapted orthography follows the spelling rules of the recipient language. |
