Popis: This concluding chapter draws together the threads of principle, evidence, and global practice relating to children who commit serious offences. It reflects on the key themes emerging from the individual contributions in this collection, and identifies the challenges and possibilities raised by the variety of global practice discussed by contributors. It explores some of the challenges in implementing measures which are compliant with children’s rights principles. We conclude by identifying some steps which may be taken by states to develop a principled and evidence-based approach to responding to children when they become involved in committing serious crimes.
