Popis: Kao najveći zglob u našem tijelu koljeno sudjeluje u brojnim aktivnostima. Sudjeluje u hodanju, trčanju, skakanju, čučanju, klečanju a sudjeluje još i u akceleraciji, deceleraciji, odrazu i zaustavljanju. As the largest joint in our body, the knee participates in numerous activities. It participates in walking, running, jumping, crouching, kneeling, and it also participates in acceleration, deceleration, take-off and landing. Due to its structure, which is very complex, it is often prone to injuries. Women who play sports have a greater risk of this injury due to improper landing and alignment of the legs, but rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament also often occurs in football. Younger football players aged 15 to 22 have the highest incidence of re-injury after the first injury. It is interesting that a large percentage of this injury, 70-80% cases, is caused by a non-contact mechanism, therefore jumping trainings are specially designed to reduce the incidence of this injury. In the case of anterior cruciate ligament injury, most patients undergo ligament reconstruction, after which rehabilitation is started. Preoperative rehabilitation plays a very important role in rehabilitation, which is why surgery is often postponed. Preoperative rehabilitation is the same as the initial part of non-operative treatment, and its goal is to reduce swelling, inflammation and pain, restore normal range of motion, normalize gait and prevent muscle atrophy before surgery.
