| Popis: | Larvae of the chironomid genus Heterotrissocladius and its species H. marcidus are recorded in Turkey for the first time. The chironomid samples were collected from natural lake Nazligol in Yedigoller National Park located in the northern part of Bolu Province. Within the scope of this study nine specimens of H. marcidus were identified.
