Popis: | International audience; We focus on the teaching and learning of decimal numbers at primary level (grades 4 and 5) in France. We are especially interested in the role played by registers of semiotic representation. Three classroom episodes are analyzed by considering the role played by the discursive register of numeration units in conceptualizing decimal numbers. |
