Popis: | National audience; Rapid Prosody Transcription (RPT) is a method for collecting prosodic transcriptions (boundary and prominence labels) from naive listeners. And LMEDS is a web-based platform that makes it easy for researchers to collect RPT annotation sessions over the internet. LMEDS can be both run over the internet or on local computers and does not require programming experience to use. In this talk, I walk through the process of setting up and administrating an RPT annotation session in LMEDS and compare annotations collected over the internet with those collected in traditional lab-based settings.More information on LMEDS can be found at:http://prosody.beckman.illinois.edu/lmeds.html |
