Popis: Continuous monitoring of the health status contributes improving people's quality of life and can prevent serious diseases or disorders by detecting early symptoms. This requires periodically checks of their physiological parameters, allowing the doctor to determine their health status. These measurements should be made, mainly, in the hospital, which requires user effort and cost to the government. Sometimes, users also have the need to be transported by ambulance to the hospital, what increases the cost even more. In this project we design and analyze a system for measuring, simultaneously, the electrocardiogram (ECG) and bioimpedance variations (IPG) in a non-invasive way by placing electrodes on the feet, and with the user wearing socks. Using both signals, we robustly obtain the user's heart rate and the distance between the peaks of the ECG and IPG signals, all this using a digital signal processing in real time. The system also is capable of transmitting the measurements made in real time to a smartphone or tablet for supervision, and is able to store the data on a local server from which will be accessible from any device.
