Popis: | International audience; The loading rate in a satellite roller screws is possibly carried through multiple non-conformal contacts between the screw and the rollers in one side, and between the nut and the rollers in another one. The interacting surfaces are pseudo-toric (roller) and conical (screw or nut). Assuming a uniform distribution of the axial loading, the normal loading is calculated following the normal direction to the hertzian surfaces contact of the screw and the rollers. Thanks to the determination of the pressure distribution the in-depth stresses are calculated normally to the loading direction. This resolution takes use of the semi-numerical approach that leads to a set of linear equations solved by iterative means. It consists on the combination the conjugated gradient method and the accelerative technique known as Fast Fourier Transform (DC-FFT) to calculate cyclic convolutions. Thus, it appears that the pressure distribution follows a paraboloic law and that the contact area is circular. |
