Popis: | International audience; Teaching of geometry in the elementary school in Poland is carried out in a very static way. Students learn various geometrical concepts in concrete, typical situations. They rarely meet these concepts in less common situations or not directly related to the geometry. In this paper, I will present a part of activities that have been carried out among pupils in the fourth grade of primary school. During these courses, students had the opportunity to take a look at familiar geometric concepts (square, cube, perpendicular, parallelism) from a new perspective. |
