Peritoneoperikardijalna dijafragmatska hernija - prikaz slučaja

Popis: Peritoneoperikardijalna dijafragmatska hernija predstavlja urođenu komunikaciju osrčja i trbušne šupljine. Javlja se s prevalencijom od 0,02 do 0,05 %, čineći najčešću prirođenu anomaliju srca i dijafragme u pasa. U članku je opisan prikaz slučaja mužjaka shi tzua starog 12 godina zaprimljenog na Kliniku za kirurgiju, ortopediju i oftalmologiju, Veterinarskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, u kojeg je dijagnosticirana peritoneoperikardijalna hernija te je učinjena herniorafija. Pacijent je s Klinike otpušten nakon pet dana poslijeoperacijske skrbi, a četiri mjeseca nakon zahvata je stabilno.
Peritoneopericardial diaphragmatic hernia is a congenital defect involving communication between pericardium and abdominal cavity. The reported prevalence is 0.02 to 0.05%, making it the most common congenital heart and diaphragm defect in dogs. This case study describes a 12-year old male Shih Tzu admitted to the Surgery, Orthopaedics and Ophthalmology Clinic, of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zagreb. Peritoneopericardial diaphragmatic hernia was diagnosed and herniorrhaphy performed. The patient was treated postoperatively for five days. Four months after the procedure, the patient was stable.
