Con esta investigación se determinaron las potencialidades y limitantes para desarrollar procesos de planificación hacia una producción sustentable en las Reservas Naturales de la Sociedad Civil (RNSC) en Colombia, a partir del estudio de caso en la RNSC Tenasucá (Cundinamarca) a través de una investigación cualitativa que combina datos cuantitativos de forma complementaria, partiendo de una aproximación general a la historia y contexto actual de las RNSC en Colombia, para luego analizar a profundidad el caso de la reserva Tenasucá, sus limitantes y potencialidades, con base en la caracterización del sistema, la revisión de los instrumentos de ordenamiento y planificación que se sobreponen en su territorio y 26 entrevistas semiestructuradas. Entre las limitantes se encontró desarticulación institucional, una profunda fragmentación del conocimiento, divergencias cartográficas, tensiones entre actores clave y riesgos por intereses económicos oportunistas que aprovechan la falta de cohesión de los actores. No obstante, las potencialidades que emergen de la relación familia-socioecosistema se consideran como formas de resiliencia propias de las Reservas, que sirven de referente para otras experiencias de producción-conservación, por lo que la figura representa una alternativa para la planificación de los territorios y la producción sustentable en Colombia. With this research, the potentialities and limitations to develop planning processes towards sustainable production in the Natural Reserves of Civil Society (RNSC) in Colombia were determined, based on the case study in the RNSC Tenasucá (Cundinamarca) through an investigation qualitative study that combines quantitative data in a complementary way, starting from a general approach to the history and current context of the RNSC in Colombia, to then analyze in depth the case of the Tenasucá reserve, its limitations and potentialities, based on the characterization of the system , the review of the management and planning instruments that overlap in their territory and 26 semi-structured interviews. Among the limitations, institutional disarticulation, a deep fragmentation of knowledge, cartographic divergences, tensions between key actors and risks due to opportunistic economic interests that take advantage of the lack of cohesion of the actors were found. However, the potentialities that emerge from the family-socioecosystem relationship are considered as forms of resilience typical of the Reserves, which serve as a reference for other production-conservation experiences, so the figure represents an alternative for planning the territories. and sustainable production in Colombia.
