Popis: | Preživači proizvode ureu u slini, min. Ruminants produce urea in saliva, min. 500 g/day, and in the rumen urea releases ammonia for protein synthesis. Ever since it was discovered that the rumen micro organisms can use non-protein nitrogen, NPN compounds have been used in feeding ruminants to replace part of the vegetable protein. The aim of this study was to determine the combined effect of NPN compound with slow release (Optigen) and Benural S which was partly reduced in the experimental group. Monitored were the following indicators, body weight, daily gain, feed conversion and the price of food consumed per kg of weight gain in beef cattle. The experiment was conducted on 55 beef of cattle Simmental breed type. Conducted were four individual weightings, the experiment lasted 3 months i.e. 92 days. The meal of the control group included Benural S in the amount of 0.12 kg, while in the experimental group the proportion of Benural S was 0.08 kg and the proportion of Optigen was 0.04 kg. The results showed a higher average body weight and weight gain in the experimental group, with no statistically significant difference between groups. Feed conversion was lower in the experimental group and amounted to 5.84 kg / kg in the control 6.96 kg / kg. The price of food consumed per kg of weight gain was lower in the experimental group where it was 8.97 kn compared to the control group, where it was 10.71 kn. |
