Popis: | This project aims to study the power quality parameter, harmonics, in a residential microgrid for two cases – white-box model approach in a simulation environment and experimental scenarios for a synthetic microgrid. The microgrid studied is designed for a residential use. It is composed by two generators, one PV panel and one battery that supply power to the system. Connected to these generators are different types of household loads as water heaters, desktop computers, incandescent lamps etc. Performing several experiments, changing the capacity of generation of the PV panel and the battery, and the type of load in every experiment will allow to have different values of the harmonics in every case. These experiments will be performed first with an experimental scenario for a synthetic microgrid and then with a white-box model approach in a simulation environment. The control strategy implemented is Droop Control, as it is popular control structure implemented in several literature and pilot projects. The regulation followed to analyse the quality of the power in reference to the harmonics values has been IEEE Standard 519-2014 as recommended in IEEE 2030-2019. Outgoing |
