Popis: | U radu su prikazani rezultati produkcije Λ bariona u p + p sudarima pri impulsu projektila 80 GeV/c. Mjerenja i analiza podataka radeni su u okviru NA61/SHINE eksperimenta, ˇciji je primarni cilj istraˇzivanje kvarkovsko-gluonske plazme i potraga za kritiˇcnom toˇckom u faznom dijagramu jako interagiraju´ce tvari. Jedan od predvidenih signala nastanka kvarkovsko-gluonske plazme je pove´cana produkcija stranih ˇcestica u jezgara+jezgra sudarima. Λ barioni identificirani su preko nabijenog kanala raspada Λ −→ p + π +. U okviru diplomskog rada odreden je multiplicitet Λ bariona u ovisnosti o rapiditetu i transverzalnom impulsu kao i ukupni multiplicitet Λ bariona. Dobiveni rezultati, zajedno s rezultatima mjerenja produkcije drugih stranih ˇcestica u p + p i p+jezgra sudarima doprinijet ´ce razumijevanju mehanizma njihovog nastanka u elementarnim reakcijama u kojim se ne oˇcekuje formiranje kvarkovsko-gluonske plazme, a time i interpretaciji i razumijevanju rezultata dobivenih u jezgra+jezgra sudarima. The thesis presents the results of the Λ production in p + p collisions at 80 GeV/c. Measurements and analysis of data are conducted within the NA61/SHINE experiment. Its main goals are investigation of quark-gluon plasma state and search for the critical point of strongly interacting matter. One of the predicted signals of quarkgluon plasma formation in nucleus+nucleus collisions is the enhanced production of strange particles. Λ baryons are identified by the charged decay channel Λ −→ p+π +. In the thesis, Λ yield in transverse momentum and rapidity bins as well as total Λ multiplicity are obtained. These results, together with the measurements of other strange particles in p+p and p+nucleus collisions will contribute to the understanding of their production mechanisms in elementary reactions in which the formation of quark-gluon plasma statis not expected, and therefore the interpretation and understanding of the results obtained in the nucleus+nucleus col |
