Ipamorelin – struktura i funkcija

Popis: Ipamorelin je sintetski pentapeptid, 2-metilalanil-L-histidil-3-(2-naftil)-D-alanil-D-fenilalanil-Llizinamid koji pripada skupini peptida-poticatelja izlučivanja hormona rasta, tzv. sekretagoga. Zbog toga bi se mogao koristiti u regeneraciji različitih tkiva nakon ozljeda, ili općenitih pojava neuravnoteženosti organizma. Međutim, bitno je za naglasiti da se ipamorelin za sada nalazi na listi zabranjenih supstanci Svjetske antidopinške organizacije. U ovom završnom radu prikazat će se dosadašnja saznanja o učincima ipamorelina, te najnovije spoznaje o detekciji ove nedozvoljene supstance u urinu sportaša. Ipamorelin is a synthetic penta-peptide, 2-methylalanyl-L-histidyl-3-(2-naphthyl)-D-alanyl-Dphenylalanyl- L-lysinamide which belongs to the group of growth hormone releasing peptides (secretagogues). Therefore it could be used for regeneration of couple of body tissues after any injury, or the general imbalance of the body. However, it should be mentioned, that ipamorelin is still included in the Prohibited List of doping substances of World Anti-Doping Agency. The aim of this undergraduate thesis is to give an overview of ipamorelin effects on various tissues of model animals. In addition, novel method of detection of this doping substances in the urine of athletes will be ascribed.
