Popis: | This project has been focused on the design and creation of a radio-controlled vehicle powered by renewable energies to demonstrate to the people in a simple way that renewable energies are the future of transportation. In addition, this project includes that the product has to be fully functional adding the steering system by bluetooth and designed to be manufactured in additive printing. The methology used in this project is the Design Thinking where is started by empathizing through a study of the current state of the art, where the buying and learning behavior of humans, the environmental impact of the use of non-renewable energies in automotive transport, the current and future technologies of the sustainable car framework and the key components of the radio control systems are studied Then it's defined a briefing where the design was directed from the definition of the user and his needs applied to the functionality of the product from the study of references which allowed to see functional design opportunities leading to a design path. Then, the design is ideated starting with the form-function, conceptual designs, studying the usability between the product and the user, mechanics, aesthetics, materials used, components purchased and the machinery used for production. With all this data and with a clear design idea, the parts needed for 3D printing were designed and the assembly was assembled and the corresponding drawings were made. Then it was prototyped with the 3D printing technology and assembled the final product Finally, the budget was made where the costs of the project, the materials and components and the production costs were taken into account with seeing that the majority of it is the engineering costs. The author is happy with the result since he has been able to meet his goals of creating a fully functional radio control from additive manufacturing. Although he would have liked to be able to improve sustainability and work more on inclusivity and user learning.
