Popis: International audience; This paper proposes a new approach for video game evaluation, based on a hierarchical model of quality criteria, in the framework of the template formalism: the latter offers a principled aggregation methodology to combine elementary and directly evaluable criteria into more complex properties until the global quality of a game can be assessed. We propose a structured organisation of existing video game quality criteria, and its implementation in the template formalism. The first experiments performed with real data show this model constitutes a relevant and powerful tool that provides interpretable assessment results consistent with expert evaluations.
