Popis: The main purpose: to reveal the leadership’s factors that affect employees’ engagement, as well as the employees’ engagement factors that affect leadership development and the success of the organization. Methods of this thesis: comparative analysis of different literature about leadership, leadership theories, managerial competencies and employee engagement, survey research in selected company, analysis and interpretation of its results. The performed research revealed that there’s strong connection between employee engagement and leadership expression, that organization’s success and financial profit depends on employee engagement, and that leadership and management has different meanings. The main conclusions: there are several main factors of leadership expression that influence employees’ engagement; strong employee engagement could be named as an award of great leadership; engaged employees bring financial value and act like ambassadors of the company. The recommendations: managers have to take leadership recognition tests; managers have to show trust in their employees while communicating real business situation; both manager and employees have to learn how to provide feedback and react to it; start on the first day with the new hires; foster open relations and communication between employee and manager.
