Popis:	Modern cost management, in addition to the application of strategic management instruments, also includes tools for managing the environmental protection costs and the use of renewable and less environmentally harmful resources. This paper analyzes the types of environmental costs and the possibilities of their assessment in the product life cycle with the aim of identifying the impact of environmental costs on the business result from an ecological and socio-economic aspect and providing value-expressed information relevant for making business decisions.
