Popis: Cloud services are an emerging business area gathering large investments, and its usage continues to grow each year. Increasing demand of cloud services causes new cloud services providers to appear. Software as a service is a type of cloud service which attracts most investments. As demand and supply exists, helping the user choose high-quality software as a service is important. However, the supplier needs to find out how to deliver these services in a high standard. The main objective of this paper is to offer a quality model for software as a service solutions. To achieve this, the ISO/IEC 25000 standards series - "SQuaRE" quality model, requirements and evaluation chapters were used. In addition, quality models proposed by other authors were compared and the relevant characteristics of software as a service were categorised. This paper examines software as a service, platform as a service and infrastructure as a service architectures, differences between them, establishes how three base types of cloud services communicate with each other and indicates software as a service flaws in terms of service quality.
