Popis: In the beginning of the Internet and Web era web applications and websites were simple and uncomplicated. Despite that, both the Internet itself and browsers were very slow and that was the reason why the performance of web applications and websites was not important for the users. But over time these technologies have rapidly improved. That lead to the growth of web applications which together had an impact to the increase of user needs. This is especially noticeable today when users are increasingly focusing not on the user interface or functionality but on the performace and loading time. Bachelor thesis is to examine how web application works in browser, identify the slow loading time problem, choose and compare optimization methods. The most popular and widely used client and server side optimization methods were selected. Based on these methods and having chosen the right technologies, the online store prototype was developed as well as loading time was measured and compared.
