Popis:	Chemical-shift imaging (CSI) has been appliedto the evaluation of patients with temporal lobe epilepsy(TLE), but few comparisons have been made between thedata obtained from quantitative structural magneticresonance imaging (MRI) and the accuracy of CSI to identifypathological changes within the hippocampus. Our goal wasto determine the discriminative capability of CSIhippocampal NAA /(Cho+Cre) ratios to distinguish betweenpatients with lateralized epileptic foci when compared tostructural MRI measures of disease.
