During the past few decades, scholars in the humanities have uncovered the complexity of cultural phenomena to a far greater extent than before. Furthermore, the ways in which research results can be obtained have become quite diverse in nature. This complexity and diversity require intensifying the interaction between scholars, and more attention for transfer of these results outside one's own circle. A clear choice in matters of content and methodology is a precondition to get to a sensible discussion about these matters. |
