Integration of HVDC Lines into AC Power Systems

Popis: Teorijski pregled dostupnih tehnologija i elemenata vezanih uz visokonaponski istosmjerni prijenos uvod su u problem matematičkog modeliranja elektroenergetskog sustava te potom visokonaponskog istosmjernog (HVDC) voda baziranog na naponski upravljivim pretvaračima (VSC). Model voda razvijen je na jednogeneratorskoj, a testiran na poremećaje i kvarove u višegeneratorskoj mreži. VSC pretvarači nude mogućnost neovisne regulacije jalove i djelatne snage pa je u modelu razvijena vanjska kontrolna petlja s regulatorom injekcije jalove snage, kako bi se istražile dodatne mogućnosti aktivnog sudjelovanja voda u dinamičkoj slici sustava. Osim utjecaja na dinamičku sliku sustava, proučen je utjecaj modela na tokove snaga u izvanrednim pogonskim stanjima te su predložene mogućnosti istraživanja i unapređenja modela. Theoretical overview of available technologies and elements related to the HVDC transmission are an introduction to the problem of a mathematical power system and VSC-HVDC modelling. Model is developed on the single-machine network and then tested for disturbances and failures on the multi-machine network. VSC converters offer the possibility of independent reactive and active power control, and therefore the outer control loop with the regulation of reactive power injection is developed in order to explore additional opportunities to actively participate in the power system dynamics. In addition to the impact on the system dynamics, the consequences of the model integration on power flow in emergency operating conditions are analysed, and further research and model improving possibilities are proposed.
