PEDAGOGICAL DOCUMENTATION IN THE EDUCATIONAL PRACTICE OF PRESCHOOL INSTITUTIONS

Popis: | Pedagoška dokumentacija značajna je kako za odgajatelja, tako i za dijete te se njome nastoji potaknuti cjelokupan razvoj djeteta u smjeru koji će za njega biti najbolji. U ovome radu naglasak se stavlja na važnost procesa dokumentiranja u odgojno-obrazovnoj praksi. Glavni cilj je razumjeti dijete, njegove interese, potrebe i mogućnosti te shodno tome osigurati poticajno okruženje za njegov daljnji razvoj. Kompetentan odgajatelj stalno istražuje odgojnoobrazovnu praksu s ciljem uspostavljanja što boljeg i kvalitetnijeg odnosa s djecom. Od svakog odgajatelja se očekuje da se nakon završetka formalnog obrazovanja neprestano usavršava. Stalnim stručnim usavršavanjima odgajatelji proširuju svoja znanja i stječu nova te poboljšavaju svoju praksu. Vrijednost i važnost pedagoške dokumentacije u Republici Hrvatskoj naglašeni su ''Nacionalnim kurikulumom za rani i predškolski odgoj i obrazovanje'' (Narodne novine, br. 01/15). U praksi je ipak prisutno njezino različito shvaćanje što je odraz jaza pedagoške teorije i prakse. U kolovozu 2021. godine provedeno je istraživanje koje je u ovom diplomskom radu imalo za cilj utvrditi mišljenje odgajatelja o pedagoškoj dokumentaciji u odgojno-obrazovnim ustanovama. Rezultati su pokazali da nema statistički značajne razlike procjene važnosti koju odgajatelji u istraživanju pridaju pedagoškoj dokumentaciji u odnosu na razinu obrazovanja, osnivača ustanove, učestalost sudjelovanja na stručnom usavršavanju te radno mjesto (vrsti boravka) u dječjem vrtiću Pedagogical documentation is important both for the educator and for the child, and it is used to encourage the overall development of the child in the direction that will be best for him. In this paper, emphasis is placed on the importance of the documentation process in educational practice. The main goal is to understand the child, his interests, his needs and possibilities and accordingly provide a stimulating environment for his further development. A competent educator constantly studies educational practice with the aim of establishing the best and highest quality relationship with children. Every educator is expected to continuously improve their skills and knowledge after completing formal education. Through constant professional development, educators expand their knowledge and acquire new ones and they also improve their practice. The value and importance of pedagogical documentation in the Republic of Croatia is emphasized by the "National Curriculum for Early and Preschool Education" (Official Newspaper, No. 01/15). In practice, however, its different understanding is present, which can be a reflection of the gap between pedagogical theory and practice. A research, which was conducted in this paper in August 2021, had a goal to determine the opinion of educators about pedagogical documentation in educational institutions. The results showed that there is no statistically significant difference in the assessment of the importance that educators in the research attach to pedagogical documentation in relation to the level of education, the founder of the institution, the frequency of participation in professional training and the workplace (type of stay) in the kindergarten. |
