This text presents the views of the first of the Resurrectionists combined with views of pedagogical thinkers of New Education. The educational tenets are summarised in combination with the pedagogical thinkers of the New Education: Maria Montessori, Janusz Korczak, John Dewey, as well as Celestyn Freinet present convergence with the approach to fundamental matters and raise issues of humility, care, respect and trust in the development of young people. They show that these tenets are still relevant and important now in the 21st Century, although one is called more frequently now more than ever to defend and prove them. |
