Popis: Ecuador is a small, dollarized country, primo oil exporter and far from global shipping networks. It has, however, managed in a decade to become the world’s third largest exporter of cut flowers by entering global value chains. This success is based on the adoption of a unique economic model, based on small flower farms and customized production. Counter-intuitive to the standard approaches and practices of the main competing countries, this export model remains very fragile.; Ecuador es un pequeño país dolarizado, principalmente exportador de petróleo alejado de las redes marítimas mundiales.
