Popis: | Reunión MAGIBER XI Portugal Condeixa a Nova (4 al 6 de septiembre de 2019) In paleomagnetic research groups it is well known that commonly used plastic boxes, holders, glues, fixers, markers, etc. display magnetic properties to a certain extent. However, beyond very few works on inter-calibration of instruments (Sagnoti et al., 2003), the identification of potential noise sources (García et al., 2009) and a description of magnetic properties of very specific holders (Bossi et al., 2004), detailed information on the intensity, coercivity, magnetic carriers of most common sample holders is hard to find in the literature. A comprehensive characterization of these holder materials was never done so far. This work has been funded by a Project >Salvador Madariaga> (PRX17 /00462), by a TNA fellowship (EPOS-TNA-MSL-006/2017) and by the Applied Geology Group (GeoAP-E0117R) of the Government of Aragon. It has also benefited from the MAGIBER-II network (CGL2017-90632-REDT) funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. |
