The paper deals with two antenna theory models of the telecommunication tower struck by lightning. The lightning induced current along the tower is governed by the homogeneous Pocklington integro-differential equation. The tower is excited by the equivalent current generator, which is incorporated into the model as a boundary condition. The models based on the non-zero current on the perfect (PEC) ground and on the zero-current on the PEC ground are employed. The numerical results obtained by the both models are presented throughout this work, respectively. |
