Popis: | This project proposes a 5-stage methodology to evaluate energy efficiency easures in low-income housing, based on guidelines for energy certification systems. Initially, the global and national situation of the certification systems in multi-family and single-family homes was reviewed, the regulations developed and the certification systems used in Colombia, an identification of the building energy simulation tools was carried out, among the which will be used for the development of this project the Design Builder tool. Once the type of home has been selected, it is built using the simulation tool and the energy saving and efficiency measures (hereinafter MAE) defined from the requirements of the certification systems (LEED BD+C Homes, BREEAM Vivienda and Referencial Casa Colombia “Casa VIS”). By analyzing the results of the simulation of each of the MAE, it was possible to determine the percentage of decrease in consumption that they represent compared to the reference dwelling (without saving measures). Next, the evaluation of the categories of the Casa Colombia Referential certification was carried out, determining the points obtained for meeting the requirements and credits. Although there were categories that were not included in the evaluation and others were partially evaluated, it was possible to determine that housing obtains 47 points through the implementation of the MAE that represented greater savings, which classifies it at the sustainable level (between 40 – 64 points). The proposed methodology also includes Energy Performance Indicators (IDEn) and the economic evaluation to determine the cost of implementing the proposed MAE Tesis (Magíster en sistemas energéticos)-- Universidad Autónoma de Occidente, 2022 Maestría Magíster en Sistemas Energéticos |
