Popis: | In the framework of the Master Degree on French Studies organised by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the Université de la Sorbonne, the present work is part of a Master degree’s final project, written by Coralia Hernández Reyes and directed by Professor Amelia Sanz. The proposed case-study is Madame de Staël in the 1930’s in Spain, more precisely from the beginning of the 2nd Republic (14th April 1931) to the end of the Civil War (1st April 1939). The starting point was the Hemeroteca Virtual de la Biblioteca Nacional de España and the Biblioteca Virtual de la Prensa Hispánica. The corpus, with more than 22000 words, is the base to analyse how Madame de Staël is presented in the press as a model for the Spanish women and their new role in politics and social life in the studied period. |
