| Popis: | The paper analyses the Vlach graveyards of Eastern Serbia, from two main perspectives. On the one hand, it focuses on the non-linguistic elements, which point to the fact that Vlachs are buried there; therefore, the authors propose three possible types of "reading" the graveyards: ethnographic, esthetic and cultural. On the other hand, the authors make a diachronic analysis, from a sociolinguistic perspective, of the epitaphs written in the local Vlach variety. |
