| Popis: | The book chapter reviews nearly two decades of archaeological resesearch along the Cheshire extension of the Bridgewater Canal, opened in 1776. This includes studies of Cornbrook Weir, the Dunham Aqueduct, Runcorn terminus and the surviving buildings at Broadheath Quay. Many of these sites included canal structures that were the first of their type. |
