Popis: | to plan the sustainable development f territorial ecosystems it is mandatory to know the geographical space's physical-biological status. Ecosystems complexity has to be described in all biotic and abiotich environmental components; to realize its sustainable development it is necessary that the planning tools are capable of making use of environmental analysis meant to understand the territory in its whole complexity. The importance of geographical information in environmental policies is conformed by the European Union with Directive 2007/2/CE, known as the INSPIRE directive the ai of which is to "outline the guides for the institution of the territories' information infrastructures". The INSPIRE directive was born from the exigency of sharing large quantities of territorial and data with different shapes and origins in order to built a single European infrastructure for territorial information based on the ones operating in the different territories. The is regarding data that has already been produced or updated by public authorities in the filed of their institutional activities. In Italy, the reception decree creates the national infrastructure for territorial information and environmental monitoring (INITMA), with the aim of integrating territorial information with environmental monitoring data, according to the distributed environmental information systems principles, focusing general standards for the exchange, sharing, access and usage of the data needed, in integration with regional and local realities. |
