Popis: Although many definitions of sustainable mobility exist, it is defined here as the capacity to meet the needs of society to move people and goods freely, communicate, trade and establish relationships while ensuring, at the same time, the preservation and conservation of basic human values, the physical environment, and natural and economic resources. A policy for the sustainable development of mobility must therefore evaluate and monitor the effects of mobility on human beings and, more generally, on the ecosystem, and, at the same time, consider its economic and social impact. The evaluation of sustainability is therefore based on the definition of indicators of environmental, economic and social impact. Italy's situation imposes the need to evaluate environmental impact not only on human beings, but also on the cultural heritage, which constitutes both a major economic resource and the foundations of our cultural identity.
