This Technical Report presents, for two velocities, the Uncertainty Analysis of measured and derived quantities developed on results obtained by tests performed at Insean (the Italian Ship Model Basin) on a heeled and yawed sailing yacht model of the America's Cup Class (ACC) by "partially restrained model technique". This analysis was carried out under Insean Reserch Programme 2005-2007 and July 2006 December 2007 in agreement with Luna Rossa srl., owner of the model and costumer of the previous tests. UNI CEI ENV 13005 guidelines have been followed to perform it. Results show that, for the more important derived quantity (corrected-drag), combined uncertainty interval is less than 1% of measure for all tested speeds; as regards Sum of Lateral Forces, the found composed uncertainty interval is about 2.9 %. Moreover the analysis explains the influence of each uncertainty factor: by far the most important one is the vertical thermal gradient of basin, caused by the test period (April-May), that triggers very high cross currents. The obtained results by this work show how to improve measurement technique in the future.
