Popis: | Introduction: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (LLA) is the most incident child cancer and the one with the highest survival rate. It is characterized by overproduction of immature white blood cells (blasts) in the bone marrow. The most frequent treatments are chemotherapy, radiotherapy and transplantation of stem cells that force children to remain hospitalized for a long period of time. The new generations increasingly dominate the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and learn thanks to its use. UNESCO believes in the potential of mobile devices to help and facilitate the learning of the community. Objective: To create a computer application for children from 6 to 10 years old diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia to improve their understanding during the illness process. Methodology: For the realization of the theoretical framework, during the 2017- 2018 academic year, a bibliographic research on the key concepts on cancer and leukemia has been done, but more specifically on acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Some technical specifications have been made of the different sections of the application and 2 computer programs have been used to carry out some final models. Results: 7 sketches, 24 technical files and 21 models, as a sample of what the project could be, were obtained. It is concluded that the results of the project are models and sketchers that because of the limitations could not be finalized; therefore, their functionality cannot be considered. The project aims to be an educational computer resource aimed at children between 6 and 10 years old, with acute lymphoblastic leukemia to improve their understanding of the disease process, identify nursing roles and become familiar with the healthcare environment |
