| Popis: | Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome is characterised by absence of the vagina and uterus and the presence of normal ovaries. It is a rare congenital anomaly of the female genital tract with a prevalence of 1 in 5 000 female newborns. There is no standard treatment, but a few techniques for creating a vagina, allowing a normal sex life, have been described.
