Popis: | Goal of work: to study the togolese military lipidic profile in order to consider the different possible therapeutic steps.Methodology: It is a retrospective survey on 18 months from January 2003 to June 2004 track from the register of the central laboratory of the Togolese Armed Services in the setting of their yearly systematicbalanceResults: To the total 197 soldiers of which 37 officers (18.8%) and 160 non-commissioned officers and soldiers (SOS) (81.2%) have been kept. Their middle age is of 40.65 years (external 21et57ans)The hyperlipidemias especially touch the soldiers of more than 39 years with a predominance among the officers (46% for the hypercholesterolemy, 29.72% for the hypertriglyceridemy) that the SOS (33.75% for the hypercholesterolemy, 20.6% for the hypertriglyceridemy). Sixty eleven soldiers (36.6%) aged 21to 57ans have a hypercholesterolemia superior or equal to 2g/l of which 17 officiers and 54 SOS. Forty four soldiers (22.34%) aged of 21 to 57ans have a hypertriglyceridemy superior or equal to 1.5g/l ofwhich 11 officers and 33 SOS. Twenty three soldiers (11.7%) aged of 21 to 57ans have an association hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemy among which 6 officers and 17 SOSConclusion: The hyperlipidemias are frequent among the soldiers in Togo and touch the officers more that the SOS. They would be bound to age and the food. Their impact in the intervening of the cardiovascular illnesses has cannot be demonstrated in this retrospective survey because of lack of information on the clinic and other biologic exams. |
