Popis: Heterotopic pregnancy is the rare simultaneous existence of both intrauterine and extra uterine pregnancies. Despite it being an emergency condition, due to its rare occurrence, diagnosis can be challenging. We present the case of a 23-year-old woman, para 0+1 gravida 2, who presented with a two-month history of amenorrhea and was managed for heterotopic pregnancy successfully. Heterotopic pregnancy is a rare occurrence, which requires a high index of suspicion. Ultrasound is sensitive in diagnosis; however, it is user dependent. Clinical examination including performing paracentesis is essential where conflicting ultrasound reporting occurs.
