Popis:	Draping woven fabrics to complex parts with double curvature leads to complex redistribution and reorientation of the yarns in composites reinforced with woven preforms. To reduce the risk of fabric tearing or wrinkling we propose to use double-layer woven fabrics. This paper presents a simulation model for drapingdouble-layer woven fabrics to complex surfaces.Keywords: Draping, double-layer woven fabric, double-curvature surfaces, composites.
