L’appendicite aigüe est la plus fréquente des urgences chirurgicales de l’enfant. Elle atteint 49,09% des enfants examinés en urgence pour syndrome douloureux abdominal. Le diagnostic est le plus souvent clinique. Il concerne les enfants de tout âge mais surtout après 10 ans. Le traitement est chirurgical. Dans notre structure hospitalière ; la voie d’abord par coélioscopie est la plus utilisée actuellement par nos chirurgiens. Néanmoins des complications peuvent survenir. Nous rapportons un cas d’abcès sous-hépatique induit par un coprolithe après une appendicectomie par coélioscopie chez un enfant de 16 ans.Le but de notre travail est d’attirer l’attention des praticiens sur cette complication et de de montrer la nécessité d’une collaboration pluridisciplinaire (chirurgiens, réanimateur pédiatres) avant et surtout après une intervention chirurgicale.Mots clés :Abcès sous hépatique, appendicite, coprolithe, collaboration multidisciplinaire Acute appendicitis is a frequent affection in child, mostly after 10 years, but it could appear at any pediatric age. About 49.09% of children who had been examined in emergency for acute stomachache syndrome were suffering from it. The treatment is performed by using surgery. In our medical unit, our surgeon’s most used therapeutic approach is coelioscopy. Nevertheless, complications may occur. We report a case of coprolithe-induced sub-hepatic abscess after Appendicectomy by using coelioscopy ina 16 years-old child. Our goal in this study was to report a rare sub-hepatic abscess etiology meanwhile showing the necessity of strong multidisciplinary collaboration (surgeons, pediatricians) before and overall after a surgical intervention.Key words : Sub-hepatic abscess, appendicitis, coprolithe, multidisciplinary collaboration. |
