Popis: Although there are many different quality services and features in nowadays tourism, new business ideas emerge on daily basis. Even during the global crisis period people tend to travel at least during the summer or winter vacation. There are numerous factors that influence the final choice of the preferred tourist destination like travel distance, sights attractiveness, nightlife possibilities, reputation of the destination, shopping possibilities, the cost of travel and the price level at the destination. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP Method) is well known decision- making tool that represents strong support in any business sector or private life. Making final decision represents very complicated process if there are many available or possible alternatives or if indecision appears. Suggested way of the categorization and classification in tourism with AHP Method as decision-making tool both improves tourist offer and drastically simplifies the ideal destination selection process for travellers. Most common factors - criteria that influence the choice of travel destination were obtained by survey.
