Popis: The results of the studies on the influence of various LHSV and temperatures on the coke formation on R-16G catalyst in catalytic reforming are discussed. The studies were carried out in a pilot plant and in a commercial plant. While investigating the influence of process parameters on the coke formation on a catalyst it was observed that the increase of the temperature and the reduction of the LHSV caused the increase of coke deposition on the catalyst tested. Repeated regeneration leads to phase transformation in the reforming catalyst, as can be seen in the increase of pore volume, reduction of catalyst specific surface, increase of medium pore diameter as well as the total porosity of the catalyst. Dependence of the catalyst life on the process parameters is another aspect.
