Popis: Natural gas from Croatian gas and gas condensate fields contains impurities (CO2, H2S, RSH, Hg, water) which have to be removed from the gas in order to meet the sales gas specifications. Removed impurities need to be treated and disposed in a safe way without any harmful influences to the environment. Gas treatment plant GTP Molve III was put into operation in 1993. and the facility is designed for treatment of 5x106 m3/day of sour gas. Wet sulphur cake is the product of Lo-CAT process where conversion of hydrogen sulphide into elementary sulphur is done. Since the start of production Lo-CAT unit has produced 1200 tonns of elementary sulphur in form of sulphur slurry. From the begining of production, sulphur slurry has been transported to «Petrokemija – Kutina» where it was utilised in petrochemical industry for sulphuric acid production.
