A simple fuzzy controller is proposed for the load-frequency control of an isolated power system. The proposed fuzzy controller is compared with a conventional fixed PI controller. Simulation studies show that, compared with the conventional fixed proportional - integral controller, the proposed fuzzy controller is more effective and that improves the stability and transient responses of the system. |
