Popis: The aim of this study was to determine the differences in anthropological and motor parameters between starters and non-starters senior futsal players. The sample of participants consisted of 75 elite players, and the variables included body height, body weight, body fat percentage, countermovement jump (CMJ), standing broad jump and reactive strength index. Data were descriptively processed, and ANOVA was used to analyse the differences between the observed groups. Statistically significant differences were found in the variables of body height and reactive strength in which the starters achieved higher values. Reactive strength in futsal is most often manifested in sudden accelerations and decelerations, so given the frequency of these movements in a futsal match, it is clear that this parameter is a significant predictor of situational efficiency of players. These insights can be used in the processes of selection of futsal players, but also in the planning and programming of specific fitness training.
